This is an attractive, metal barrier that keeps your pet confined to a certain area while you are free to do other things. The Royal Rings Dog Gate is a dog gate that can be used on hallways or on any doorway, it has slim grills with several Royal Ring details. Our dog gates are also recommended as barriers at the top or bottom of stairways, keeping your pet safe from accidents. The dog gate's design allows your pets to have a view of the room beyond the gate keeping him entertained as the world goes by.

- Doorway: 32" tall x 28"-32" wide
- Hallway: 32" tall x 34"-38" wide
- Space between bars: 2 1/4"
Your gate frame and latch are made to line up when the gate is evenly pressure mounted. If you notice that they do not line up before mounting, this is normal.
Please follow the following directions to successfully install your gate.
- After securing the gate in desired doorway / hallway location, first open the two bottom rubber knobs, evenly. Once these knobs are fastened tightly, move to the ones on top.
- Open the latch side rubber knob a few turns, then begin the other side. Continue doing so until the gate is secured tightly, and both knobs are open an even length.
- If the pin is not catching in the latch, and appears to be too low, loosen the right side by screwing the right knob into the frame a few turns, and tighten the left side by unscrewing it a few turns.
- If the pin is not catching in the latch, and appears to be too high, tighten the right side by unscrewing the right knob a few turns, and loosen the left side by screwing it into the frame a few turns.
*Note: When gate is fully extended there is a 4" gap that small dogs may be able to slip through.

On a stairwell it is heavy enough and secure enough to withstand the wear and tear of 8 and 10 year olds and a golden retriever. Hasn't budged since installation over a month ago. Lots of positive comments have been received on its "classic" looks. Worth the cost.

Gate would be nicer if the gate could be adjusted to open in different directions. As it is the only way to change the way the gate opens is to rotate the entire assembly 180 degrees in the opening.

Overall a good product, I would rather of had this same model made for the outdoors but it is holding up well so far.

Upon losing the plastic bands that held the gate durring shipping, I thought I had been shipped a faulty gate...because the gate would not latch...one side was a lot higher than the other...but after contacting the co. I found that adjustments had to be made while installing ....which were tiresome and time consuming....BUT, once finished...the gate worked perfectly and looks great and works wonderful....INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD REFLECT THIS PROBLEM AND ADJUSTMENT...

This gate is great! My boxers always pushed gates out of the way before. We have had this gate in place now for a month or so, They do not push it over at all. Gate is very easy for people to use. with just a flip of the handle you pass the gate easy! LOVE IT

I have tried all types of child gates and none of them work like this one for a large dog (Rottweiler). It is really iron and looks like it belongs in my foyer. I get all kinds of compliments.

Great pet gate! I've had several supposedly high-end gates in the past, and all have disappointed except this one. Set up a snap, very sturdy, stays put without adjustment, nice closing mechanism. Only minor minus -- if you happen to have a door between sizes (between 32 & 33 inches wide) you need to add a block of wood in the door frame to fit it properly.

I used this product to keep my Irish Setter and Golden Retreiver puppies from going up and down the stairs. It happens to match my staircase balisters. It is very Stylish and Unique, as well as very sturdy. I wish it came in a larger size to fit my kitchen opening. Everyone comments about how nice it looks.

This gate has exceptional style so we don't mind keeping it in place all the time and just leave it open when at home. We're using this gate at the bottom of a split-foyer stairway (42" wide) and it works very well. It wasn't quite wide enough so you may consider the extensions if more than 38" for more secure fit. It's heavier than most gates, may be troublesome if you have multiple placement applications in mind. If you have "Hoodini's" in your home, they may figure out how to open it which is a consideration when putting the gate in place. We own a smaller dog, so a taller gate may be necessary as big dogs (Lab size +) might be able jump it. I'm very happy with the gate's look, function, and highly recommend it especially for long-time single placement.

We went through a lot of destroyed gates by our golden retrievers. No more! They don't even try. We no longer have to high jump over the old gates when we want to pass through that area of the house. So easy to just open the door & walk through. So easy to let the dogs out of their area & no storing of the old gates. These are beautiful!

This gate is not the average "baby-gate" sold at local pet stores. It's absolutely beautiful.
This gate is one of the Best!! I have had other gates that my dogs- English Bulldogs could stand up on and it would give out and they would get out! NOT WITH THIS GATE! Its sturdy and beautiful all at the same time! I am considering ordering another one for my deck. Thanks for such a GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I really like this dog gate. It is very sturdy, stays installed and works great even with my 85 lb chow/lab mix. The door is very easy to open and walk through.
The only CON is my two smaller dogs (chihuahua about 8 lbs, and chi/JRT mix about 12 lbs). I purchased the Doorway size which goes up to 34 in, I think I am going to have to return and purchase the Hallway size. When I extend the braces out far enough to fit my door which is right at the 34 in, my two smaller dogs can get through the far left and far right sides which are larger than the 2.25 between the iron bars.
I will be changing this out, but I want the same iron pet gate. It is really pretty in my home and sturdy.
Highly recommend it!
