I like the collar. It's easy to use. My dog is still barking but is learning.

This product was very effective and much better than my other bark collar. I used the Petsafe brand before and it isn't as effective as this collar.
This product is great for the dog owner who wants some peace and quiet. I am currently on my third bark collar from Tri-Tronics and my only complaint is their collars are NOT waterproof.
My labrador is in the river, lake, or swimming pool on a daily basis and water ALWAYS seems to leak into the collars housing eventually after owning the collar for about a year (just after the warranty expires) rendering the barking function useless. I have tried many different times to speak with Tri-Tronics and they always respond that I must have overtightened the screws when I changed the battery. If you can keep it out of the water, it will serve your purpose just fine.
Tri-Tronics is great about letting me buy another replacement collar each time at a reduced price as they know in another year I'll be back again. Now that's a profitable business.

This product was worth every penny!! I have an 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer who barks chronically. I've tried several other types of bark collars, all to no avail. I was told I had no other option than to consider tranquilizers. I didn't feel it was right to tranquilze the dog every time I left my house, so I did some research found this product. Barking was a real problem with our 2-yr.-old indoor dog, because he had gotten into a habit of barking whenever no one was paying direct attention to him, and when he was crated at bedtime. We tried a different bark collar first, which had a turn-dial controller, but would you believe he figured out how to paw at it and turn it off??!!! With this collar, there is no way for the dog to manipulate the settings. It is really easy to use, and our home is a much quieter, happier place.

Works Great on a large sheppard.
Dog is outside and would bark at anything.
With the coller he will give a low growl.
Now he only barks when he feels threatened,
which is rare and only for a minute.
