I cant believe it, it really works. Our great pyrenes is a beautiful addition to our family but unfortunately our home is located next to some rental properties. He does bark exsessively and we stopped leaving him outside except to potty due to new renters constantly calling the police. They even called when in the house. We have had the collar almost a week and I cant believe it. The first day was tough he actually jumped the gate so we lowered the level and ajusted it and now he is fine. He seems calmer and is able to spend more time outside where it is nice and cool. Would recommend this to a friend? Yes

I was skiddish about getting a shock collar for a long time, but after trying EVERYTHING ELSE, I had to do something different or get rid of the dog. It worked right away! No more hours and hours of barking! No damage to my dog either. Now she barks when there is a reason to bark. No more neighbor complaints.
Thank you. Highly recommend!Would recommend this to a friend? Yes

Our rescue, part Lab/beagle/jack russell was not big on barking in the house. Which is great, but once she gets outside she barks at every thing. Our neighbors of course complained all the time(the fact that they let their dog out at the same time and barked non stop) didn't seem to matter. 2 isits from police and animal control we thought we had to do something. This collar was perfect. We only put it on her when we let her outside, and not always activated, she is quiet. I also think it has really calmed her down also. Now the neighbors in back have called to complain about our neighbors dog. Pay back......Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I, like many others, never thought I'd use a barking collar, but we have two small, short-haired dogs (around 10lbs and 25lbs) that have been driving us and our neighbors crazy with their excessive barking at everyone and everything that comes within their sightline. After we started using the barking collars we saw an immediate reduction in the amount of excessive barking coming from our dogs - especially our larger dog. The biggest problem is that the collars are big and slide around so they don't always register when the dogs are barking and so they continue to bark if they're not being zapped. The collar definitely works better on our 25lb dog than the 10lb (but slides on both). We're trying to use a combination of the collars and commands, but it's still a struggle for our little mutts to refrain from barking especially during the day when we aren't there to correct them. The other issue is that the collar appears to have gone off on a couple occasions when the dogs were not barking which really concerns me. Overall, I am happy to see a reduction in the barking, but I wish that the collars came in an assortment of sizes to better fit small dogs and that there was a way to manually/remotely activate the collar when it's not registering the dog's bark.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I live with an "alpha" poodle who barks at others just to show how bad he is. It's annoying. I bought this e-2090 and shortened the collar with an aluminum rivet and strapped her on. he didn't know what this collar was so it was barking business as usual... he started and all the sudden "wham". At first he didn't know what hit him but he learned VERY quickly that barking will induce a shock. So instead of constant barking I may get a single yap before the collar sends out the warning signal. I was SO amazed by this collar, I found myself taunting the dog to try to provoke it to bark and it wouldn't! The only draw back is the short life of the battery and once the pet knows the unit doesn't have enough juice, it's back to barking as usual and the 6V battery isn't cheap.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I have a small mixed breed puppy that barks at sudden movement & my son. Unfortunately it does not work effectively on my dog. I have tightened it several times until I'm afraid that I'm choking him and it still slips making it ineffective (I wonder if it's because of his coat being very soft). Maybe 1 out of every 6-7 barks it might zap him but otherwise it doesn't work well for us.It is easy to use but over all I wish I had chosen a different one.

My min-pin barked at everything and nothing I tried stopped him till this collar. He now sits and watches the neighborhood dogs without so much as a peep. In just a few short days there has been a dramatic difference and the house is much quieter. It would be nice to have shorter straps for the smaller dogs; it looks like he has on a bow tie when the strap is all folded up.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

My dogs,Andi and Petri, are very high-spirited Albanian sheep dogs. Training them has been challenging. They used to bark long and loud and keep me and the neighbours awake at night. I used to have to get up several times in the night to send them back to their kennels, sometimes tying one of them up. Once they started barking, they went on for ever!
With the collar if they start to bark, they don't continue for long! I sometimes use the collar in the day time if they won't stop barking.
One problem is that, now that they can't let out their aggression by barking, they are more aggressive toward one another. But though they fight, they don't draw blood! I am considerably less aggressive toward them in the night now that I get an uninterrupted night's sleep!! They don't like having the collars put on. I hope they are learning that they don't have to wear the collar if they don't bark.
I also have an electric remote control collar which I use on one of the dogs when I take them out. I now put a bark collar, switched off, on the other dog, as a sort of dummy, in the hope that he will think he may get a buzz or a shock if he disobeys. This is not 100% effective, but I think it helps.
The cost of the collars plus postage to Albania was money very well spent!Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
