After numerous attempts to keep 5 dogs out of a particular room in the house, we finally invested in the perfect solution! We had gates across the doorway, partitions that we had to climb over... Now, an easy on the eye, very functional gate has made it possible for us to have at least one room on the main floor of our home that didnt have to be another room overrun with dogs!!! It was easy to install, good quality and surprisingly blended in with the doorway as if it was meant to be there. Having company over without having pets all over them has also become a forgotten pleasure. We love all of the dogs, but we also love this beautiful gate and the price was right! Would recommend this to a friend? Yes

I use it to keep dogs in kitchen area when I go out. The gate part opens and closes easily and securely. I was surprised to see that only the gate part is wood; the stationary vertical bars are metal. I am pleased with the purchase, but had I known that the bars were metal, I might have chosen white rather than brown.
Better directions for adding the double bar extension would be very very useful. It turns out t be not that hard, but it is difficult to figure out without explicit directions.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

We had used a baby gate for years and it was falling apart. This gate was well worth the money -- it is so easy to use! And it looks great too.
We use it on our laundry room door in the kitchen where the dogs stay at night and during the day.
The only drawback is that the assembly directions are terrible. An assembly that looks easy (because there are not many parts) is actually pretty difficult because you have to figure it out like a puzzle. I gave up and my husband finally figured it out. But now that it's up, we don't have to mess with it anymore, which is perfect.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

We bought these gates to keep our puppy from getting out of the kitchen/family room area while we are training her. We have a cat and an older dog who need to be able to get in and out of these rooms and these gates make that easy with no lifting over. The swing through gate works well and goes both ways. We also have elderly parents who appreciate not having to deal with the old gates. Aside from nothaving to use gates at all, these gates are the most convenient we have ever had.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

This is my third gate from this particular line. I have plenty of baby gates or low step over gates but have consistently returned to purchase the tension mounted gates. I have the single and wider versions. They are well built, look good and are easy on both the owners and the dogs! I would definitely recommend them.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
