We use the gate to keep the dogs out of the living room. Our older dog was eliminating in the living room and we just replaced the carpet and furniture. With the gate separating the rooms, we have had no issues. We did not want a baby gate or anything that connects to the walls since we just remodeled. This was simple to put together, looks nice and keeps the rooms separated. Everything we were looking for. Thank you.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I really like this gate. The best thing is that I can set it up in a doorway - but not have any portion "touch" the doorway (to avoid marks and dings) and it keeps the dogs (i have 2 small ones) behind it perfectly. The only bad thing is that it's not as easy to dis-assemble as I hoped - so I end up leaving it assembled most of the time, but it's very nice looking - so that's not too much of an issue.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

How can the list price be less than the sales price. Would purchase now, but not sure of the price on the larger wood gate.
