I searched high and low for a stable raised feeder with adequate sized bowls for my yellow lab, Levi. Ive had the feeder for 18 months now and its as good as new. I purchased the cherry color which is really more of natural stain. We had to saw the legs down 2 inches to fit Levi properly (we purchased the large feeder). We added felt round pads to the bottoms of the legs to slide-proof it. We havent seen a hint if mold as other reviews have said. Our feeder came with a polyurithane coating already applied in fact. I would recommend this feeder to anyone and I would definitely purchase it again!

We just got this for our new puppy who is going to be a fairly tall gal. She is 10 months old and weighs just over 40 lbs. and stands to just above my knee. We bought the large and it is just perfect. We did add another coat of varnish to the wood just to protect it from the water, as another reviewer said they did. Our only complaint is that we just havent figured out where to put it in our kitchen yet. But our pup doesnt mind eating out of it!Would recommend this to a friend? Yes

The feeder was a bit too tall for the dog. Took it downstairs to the shop, cut a couple of inches off the legs and it was perfect. The dog is happy, my wife is happy, I'm happy. Life is good. I can recommend this without reservation.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

The 10" size is perfect for our mini Schnauzer. And the quality of workmanship is excellent. Actually met the maker at a local dog show. All his products are worth every penney!Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

Overall I would definitely recommend this feeder. I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect one for my 85 lb. yellow lab. This one is truly the best I found for its durability, stability, appearance, and price. I had two issues (though it depends on your dog of course). 1. Too tall. I was worried about this from the get-go, but we just sawed two inches off each leg and problem solved! We also put floor grips under each foot for stability. 2. The 2 quart size bowls. 2 quarts if water is not enough to last my dog all day while I'm working. I'm looking to get out the saw again cut a larger hole for a larger dish. Again, I DO RECOMMEND this feeder, I'm providing my personal feedback to help make an informed decision!Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
