  This door is great and definitely wide enough for an 85lb dog. The only con is that it doesnt actually fit in the door well enough to seal out any draft, even if you use the weather stripping. I live on the second floor so it doesnt bother me but for safety reasons its not the best option if you live on a ground floor or in a house because it would be too easy to get around it.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

  This door is so perfect. It is easy to put in place and just as easy to remove. I install in less than two minutes each AM so my dog can be in or out while I am at work and each PM I remove it when I am home.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

  Overall, nice product. A draft still comes in where the pet door connects with your slider and the weather stripping that comes with it is okay. We measured our slider accordingly, but we had a small problem trying to fit the door in and we had to cut part of the door off from the bottom to slide it into the opeining. However, I think it may be something to do with our slider... Glad I purchased this product, the dog now goes outside to do his business. I would however like to see this product with a double pane glass.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
