Unlike lesser versions, ours comes fully insulated at no extra cost, so you won’t have to retrofit when cold or hot weather arrives. Handcrafted of solid natural red cedar, this quality duplex dog house keeps your dogs cooler in summer and warmer in winter, and the red cedar roof eliminates overheating that can occur with shingled houses or plastic domes. You get the highest insulating properties (R-Value) to be found in a dog house, with a finished interior and a maintenance free exterior.

Dual compartments offer roomy shelter under one roof, and the off-center door affords more shelter from the elements. The Insulated Cedar house has a raised floor to keep your dogs dry, and comes with heavy-duty clear vinyl flaps to keep out rain and wind. The roof is leak-proof yet designed to allow ventilation, and can be left unsecured for fast and easy removal to check on new litters. The oils in red cedar naturally repel fleas, ticks and termites, and protect against mildew as well. Red cedar (as opposed to common white cedar) stands up well to the elements, gracefully weathering over time while resisting warping and rotting.

For pet owners facing harsh climates, consider an Upgrade to the lockable self-closing dog house door, to seal out drafts and rain as well as predators. If you want to give your dogs year-round comfort whatever the weather, order the optional Dog House Heater and Air Conditioner to provide automatic climate control. *Doors will come pre-installed by our in house professionals with your order of the size with doors.*

RESIDENTIAL COMMERCIAL DELIVERY INFORMATION

Oversized Furniture and Dog Houses: Under freight company policy, the driver is only authorized to transport merchandise to curbside of residence. Please be prepared to assist with the acceptance and placement of your delivery.

NOTE: Customer has the right to inspect shipment contents when accepting delivery of their oversized furniture or oversized dog house(s) order from the commercial transport company. If your order has sustained damage, you "must" note it when signing and accepting delivery for insurance compensation. Please do not refuse commercial motor freight shipments as it will be considered a cancellation of order and customer will still be responsible for round-trip freight and restocking charges. Please sign delivery receipt noting damage and inform ADAMS immediately for restitution and/or prompt replacements.

DOG HOUSES: The seven fully assembled dog house panels will arrive strapped flatly to a palette on the back of the truck. Each panel section will be handed down to the recipient. Each individual panel weighs less than 40-lbs. Optional Lift Gate Service (which simply lowers the full palette to the ground) from the freight company is available by request for an additional charge to the customer of $69. if requested at time of ordering, $80. if requested after shipping for a corrected "Bill of Lading", $90. if requested after delivery attempt. NOTE: Lift Gate Service is rarely necessary under normal circumstances but occasionally requested by seniors, disabled or handicapped customers.
