This gate came within a week of placing my order. It is beautiful, matches our kitchen and living room decor as if it was all made together. The gate does what it's supposed to do, which is to keep our Cane Corso in the kitchen when we don't want her roaming the house.
The only thing that I would not rate highly is the installation instructions. As was indicated in several of the other reviews, those instructions were unclear, which led to more time and aggravation than expected in installation.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

this gate is beautiful the plastic hinges you need to becareful with i already brook one. not good for my small dog he can get through the spindles. very tricky to put together. i love the look of it .Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

It works as advertized and looks nice in my home. One improvement would be to have it return to a closed position in case you go thru with your hands full. The only thing I don't like is that I don't like the overlap look and would prefer to add or delete rungs for wider or narrower door ways. We use ours to keep the dogs from going downstairs.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

The gate was unnecessarily cumbersome to assemble. The instructions stipulated that one should measure the opening that the gate was going to occupy. The position of the brackets allowed for the size of the gate to vary to within less than an inch. Nowhere in the instructions was there information as to how to account for the dimensions of the hinges, the side beams, or the latch. For example, if your space is 42 inches, attach the brackets to the gate so the width of the gate measures 37 inches. Thus, when the side braces, hinges and latch are installed the final width of the entire fixture measures 42 inches and fits the space perfectly. Determining where to attach the brackets to assemble the gate ended up being trail and errorWould recommend this to a friend? not recommended

After my new carpeting was on order, I knew I wanted to keep the dogs off of it while I was not at home. Ordered this wood gate because it could expand to the opening I wanted to block off. The quality is beautiful. When I allow the dogs to be on the carpeting, I merely keep the gate open and swing it closed when I need them to stay out.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
