The Chew Guard Pet Door is a commercial version of the High Impact pet door, but steel plates cover the acrylic flaps edges to prevent chewing. No chew guard panel has ever been replaced due to chewing. You get all the advantages of chew-proof doors. No chew-proof weatherseal was available, but it's very difficult for a dog to get to the weatherseal, as the gap between the steel frame and the acrylic panel is very tight. If the dog somehow tears out the weatherseal, there will be little air loss and the weatherseal is replaceable. Great for commercial kennels, where you just don’t know what kind of guest to expect. These pet doors are professionally engineered and manufactured in the U.S. from quality materials, and provide a quiet, energy-efficient, secure, long-lasting solution that is safe and easy for pets to use. Constructed of rigid, high-impact, shatter-resistant Plexiglas panels, your door unit or wall unit pet door wall unit is extremely durable, made of the same acrylic used in small aircraft windshields.
