The wire break detector, I found out after purchase from your customer service people, is only effective for full breaks in the wire. I still don't know what was wrong with my system so I just ran a new wire. The detector didn't help.Would recommend this to a friend? not recommended

We have an Italian Grayhound that loves to chase squirrels and deer. We live in a lot of woods surrounding us so it was very important that our invisible fencing product work. We found one day that it didn't work and our dog was getting out. It would have been almost impossible to find where the break was due to our heavily wooded lot but with this product in a very short time we were able to find the break and repair it. Very well worth the money and saved us a great deal of time!!Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

The wire break detector came with clear, simple instructions and performed flawlessly. I was able to locate what was probably the interuption and re-establish the loop within a half-hour, and have had no problems since. A terrific product, saving both time and money.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

The package came with an unexpected radio. It worked but the sounds were not exactly as described. Nevertheless they showed where the break was--an unexpected place across the property where some workmen broke it working on my neighbor's fence. I had to dig a bit where the sound faded and went out but the wire was there and the break near by. The actual repair was easy. This saved hiring a dog fence contractor who would have charged much more. A good buy.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

There are 2 tones. When the tone changes is where your break is supposed to be. It's hard to distinguish between the tones, but you can just connect one leg of the loop and investigate. Then the other. Where you have completely lost the tone is where the break is. Or in our case it wasn't a break at all, the wire break detector weakened signal, as we travelled the loop, helped highlight that some of our connection points needed attention. The radio provided just didn't cut it, but fortunately any radio will do.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
