We purchased extra wire and fenced in about two acres for our 100+ pound Great Dane. We rented an edger and installed the fence ourselves, which took some hard work, especially since we were installing it in a wooded and rocky area (would have been a breeze if it was just a grassy area) but despite all the work it was worth every drop of sweat! We love that we can leave our dog outside, unattended, for as long as we want with ZERO worries, and it's made her life better too. It does not matter WHAT the temptation, she does not even think about crossing her fence. Two words of advice: DO follow the training steps on the DVD exactly for excellent results (so be prepared to spend several weeks in training), and DON'T leave the collar lying next to a dog that likes to chew..that was a [$] lesson we learned the hard way! Also, be aware, the manufacturer does not recommend leaving this collar on for more than 12 hours a day, so if you have an exclusively outdoor dog, this would not be a good product.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I have 30 unfenced acres. I purchased the Innotek invisible fence with extra wire and enclosed about 5 acres. My dogs run chase and bark at everything but they don't cross the line. I can leave home and not worry about them getting loose. This is a great product. ThanksWould recommend this to a friend? recommended

Our 1 year old Golden loves to chase anything that comes near our yard. We have about an acre in Connecticut and she really won't get in to too much trouble but the invisable fence made life so much easier. Within 3 days of installation and training our dog knew just what her boundaries are. Although we usually have her collar on she won't venture too close to the line even with no collar on, that after only a week. Our whole family agrees that this was one of the best investments for our dogs safety that we could have made. I have recomended this product to many friends and will again.
