We have 20 acres in a very rural part of Pennsylvania and my dogs have always stayed on our property. After the death of one dog we decided to get a 6 month old German Shepard puppy to be wth our 6 year old Lab. Within one week and continuing for over a month the dogs would run wild at least once per day, getting into the neighbor's compost, chickens, and disrupting the general dog tranquility in the valley. I was constantly getting calls to control my dogs. The stubborn dog radio fence did just that. I installed a 5 acre loop and it took only a few corrections to regain complete control of my two large dogs. Wow, I was suddenly not being held hostage by my two lovable canine friends!!
I can now leave with no anxiety, confident that Ludwig and Grace will be here when I return home.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I have always had Labradors. I love them . This new dog since a puppy is the most head strong boisterous.strong hearted, never say die beast, this works great on her.One week of use and she was trained. We've had it 2 years now and it has never had a problem. I use a smaller receiver on my old lab and it works great with this system too.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

Installed the fence, two days later the dogs will not cross the wire. I have two big boys, and neither of them are very swift. I was worried they wouldn't get it, but it works better than I could have hoped. I am on the 3rd level setting and have not needed to go higher. Dogs will not cross for toys, strangers, or even other dogs. Little training was required. They are happy now they can run around the yard whenever they feel like it.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I found out to late. I could of purchased this item at the pet store and saved some money. Buying on line is not cheaper.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

This product is fantastic! My husband was concerned about it keeping our Great Dane in check, but as soon as he hears the beep he takes off running! Although, our Great Dane is a big baby! Our boxer also has learned quickly to stay away from the beep! I am so glad we purchased this product! Now we can do our yard work without having to worry about where the boys are or who they are harrassing! Do yourself a favor and buy this product!

2 days of training after completion of the installation, the dogs were off leashes and staying in the yard. We have had to adjust the "field" a couple of times when Millie (our Pit-Lab-Border Collie mix) took off after various critters. (We live in the woods) Making the field larger and stronger solved the problem. Now that the dogs are very active outside, their indoor rough-housing is almost non-existent! [...] If you have dogs....get this fence!!! We recommended it and a friend ordered it.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

My dog is a professional escape artist! This collar and fence duo has taken care of all that. It only took one "zap" to make him understand. I wish I would have bought this ages ago!!Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
