We have 2 red bone coon hounds and a Yellow Lab. Though our hounds listen very well, our yellow lab has selective hearing! As soon as we put this collar on them, they are completely different dogs. We call this set up our attention getter, cause thats what it does. Before we purchased this we had a Innotek training collar, no complaints with that one either, but it had too many options, tone, continious, and momentary. I just wanted to get to the point with it. So we purchased the Hound Hunter, and it had one option and that was to shock, but at different levels, and very easy to use when it came to switching between the 3 dogs. I would recommend it to anyone!Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I have a Pit Bull and a Golden Retriever that both love the outdoors and hunting. This collar provided the range I needed and a good training manual. The only complaint I have had is that one day one of the dogs came back with water in the collar reciever, but I am not certain yet wheather this was just operator error or a design flaw. The transmitter is very easy to use and fits the hand well. Overall I'm very satisfied.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
