I have owned a Bloodhound mix for 6 months. I adopted him from the pound. In the 6 months I have had him, I was unable to even train him to sit. All he wanted to do was jump me and fight. No amount of discipline worked. I bought this collar only yesterday. With only 3 shocks his temperment has changed. He would give a yelp, back up a couple feet and sit. And he now sits on command as well. He almost instantly has become gentle and attentive and now I can reward him for good behavior without him jumping on me and wanting to fight. I have trained Collies, Pit Bulls and Labs for the past 50 years and never run into such a stubborn untrainable dog. This is a fantastic training aid. I had about given up and had thought I would have to euthanize the dog. I can see with this collar he will be easy to train and become a great companion.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

haven't done anything yet except charge it and start the on and off leash training w/o using the collar. my dog wasn't trained enough to start teh collar. great instructions on HOW to train.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

Most of the time only the sounder is needed. If a reminder is needed, the NICK is wonderful.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

Toby is a larger (140)lb dog and wouldnt listen when told to come or sit. After finding the proper sitting for him..I have only had to use the shock part of item once. I found out that he KNEW WHAT I WAS TELLING HIM but thought he was the alpha member. He knows now whom is in control and responds every time when called and sits without being told anymore. I still use it for more training abd have found that the NICK part of the system is usually enough. THANKSWould recommend this to a friend? recommended

Need my dog to be at side when out of yard, this took care of it.
Doesn't shock if dog get's out, only when i say it's time.
When the collar is on not sure if the tips touch skin or are only touching fur(i have heavy coated dogs)Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

Its great that you have control without the leash.
Not so great that you have to buy a european adapter to charge it but hey i did bought in US of A so i should expect it.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

Before we could not go out any where without having our dogs on a leash. Howevever once we learned how to use sportsdog collar and followed simple instructions we have not looked back. we have now began letting our dogs off the leash and with the aid of the collars are finding that they will now obey the commands that they instructed to do. ThanksWould recommend this to a friend? recommended
