My dogs quickly figured out when the collar was on (they would be quiet) and when I took it off (they would bark). So- it worked, but I have to keep it on.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I really did not want to use a bark collar at first but my dog cried when I was gone and I started getting complaints. So, I had to do something that would really demand that she stop barking. When I first put it on it didn't seem to work very well (I waited outside my apt for about 15 minutes) When I came back in I scolded her for barking and tightened the collar a little, not choking her but keeping it snug, I repeated the same exercise a few times and after about 5 minutes she was completely silent. Hopefully this keeps up but only time will tell.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

Don't forget that you do not want to keep your dog from barking at everything. Barking at someone in your yard or at your door is good. These are things we want our dogs to do to alert us. Use this device to stop unwanted barking such as at night but not for times that a dog should actually bark to protect your property.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I recently adopted a two-year old Beagle from the animal shelter and soon found out she has major separation anxiety. I currently live in an apartment and was really worried about her howling when I was away. I tried confining her to my (very large) walk-in closet, but she destroyed the carpet. This collar completely stopped the howling and, as far as I know, worked almost right away. It only took a few uses and I can now put the collar on without inserting the battery. The only con is that there are no settings you can adjust. Overall, a simple, easy to use, and effective product!Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

this is not effective with my recreational barker. She's figured out that the lower levels are acceptible, so she barks and stops and barks and stops, avoiding the higher corrections. I'd rather have one good solid correction on the second or third bark than these nagging little corrections as she goes on and on.Would recommend this to a friend? not recommended

urban community setting. Border collie took a dislike to neighbor across the fence and barked at him whenever she sensed him home. This no-bark collar worked immediately and now she just has to see it in my hand and stops the unwanted behavior. It only took one small shock to correct her.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

This collar stops my 8 lb Havanese from barking when he is wearing it. However, it goes off randomly and in the car. So, I have to take it off when driving and when I am home, otherwise "beep", "beep" is heard and my dog starts cowering. It would be nice if I could just leave it on all day, but you can't...Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

The neighbors were complaining that that my dog barks at the wind. I needed something inexpensive that would inhibt his urge. It stopped my dog from barking right away. As long as he has the collar on, he does not even try to.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
