I bought this product to prevent my 80lb German shepard from wandering into certain parts of the house. It worked great for a few months, then one day o realized she was not avoiding the area anymore. I changed the battery but when it still wouldn't work, I thought maybe the the reciever was faulty, or that maybe it had gotten wet somehow. So I went out and purchased a second system. That eventually quit working as well. (Even after changing out all the batteries.) so now I have two worthless systems and a dog that still doesn't listen.Would recommend this to a friend? not recommended

We have this sitting on our couch, because our dog recently decided our couch was its enemy when we weren't at home. Since putting it on there she hasn't tried at all to chew on it. You just have to kind of work with adjusting the perimeter distance and placement until you get what you want. Since it send the signal out in a circular pattern, sometimes it takes a little more work with the rectangular shape of the couch.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
