I purchased the Dutchie bed in Eggplant size large for my 4.5 month old aussie pup Ccino (Mochaccino) who will be approx. 20 lbs when full grown. I went with the large cuz she likes to stretch out - it is just as described and shown in pic. Very luxurious color, fabric. etc. Appears well constructed and luv that it can be washed - essential. She is sleeping in our bed right now, but hope to move her to this bed when shes grown and wanting her own space (hopefully) this winter. My cats may break it in for her before then.Would recommend this to a friend? Yes

Great bed, very sturdy and soft. My dog loves it and I'm happy you can unzip and wash the whole bed. The XL is a BIG bed, so make sure you have the room for it. Pricy, but I believe it will last a long time and not get all flat like other cheap beds.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended

I got this bed for my dog as a second bed. She already has the Bowser's round bed, which she also likes, but this bed quickly displaced that one. This is her #1 bed now. We have this bed in the living room and I can't get her to leave it to come upstairs at night... The bolster around the bed is nice and my dog loves to rest her head on it. The fabric is also great - very durable and easy to clean. One nice feature is that the inner cushion is removable, which makes for easy cleaning as well as a portable bed for car trips.
I do suggest that you get one size larger than your dog needs because the inside dimensions of the bed (area within the bolster) run a little small. According to the size chart, my dog required a large bed, but we bought her the x-large and I am very glad that we did (and so is she) - she loves being able to stretch out across the inner cushion, or curl up against the bolster. All I can say is that, according to my dog, this is the best bed ever!Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
