  I use it to stop my golden retriever from following the vehicle, from going on the road, and the vibration mode to get her attention when shes outside. I wish the remote had a belt clip, Remote is hard to hold and I'm afraid if it moves while hanging on my neck it will shock my dog.Would recommend this to a friend? recommended
