I never knew until today that there was an official "Take Your Dog to Work Day" designated. On Friday, June 25th the nation will be observing Take Your Dog to Work Day (TYDTWD). While I totally support the movement, it seems that allowing dogs in the work place isn’t that unusual these days. Cool, progressive companies like Amazon, P&G Pet Care and Ben & Jerry’s love the good PR they get from their dog-friendly offices.

In fact, before landing a job here at Pet-Super-Store, many local offices were pro-animal in the work place. And why shouldn’t they be?  My little puggle quietly sleeps in his luxurious dog bed all day long except for when he begs for bites of my lunch. Aside from the obvious benefits for your dog. Dogs in the work place can increase employee morale and socializiation. Studies have shown that dogs can decrease stress and lower blood pressure. Seems like a win-win to me.
